VLSI Verification: SystemVerilog - Polymorphism

Polymorphism is the ability of an object to take on many forms. In other words, the most common definition that is used is, polymorphism is multiple functions having the same name.

Polymorphism allows the use of a variable of the superclass type to hold subclass objects and to reference the methods of those subclasses directly from the superclass variable.
